Precautions Taken at The Morgan Center to Limit Exposures:
- Children with signs of a cold will not be permitted to stay.
- Each child will have their own supply box, which will not be shared with anyone
- Snacks will be provided by the center, which will not be shared between the children
- Activities with direct physical contact will be minimized between the children (ie. handholding).
- The children will use anti-bacterial hand wipes throughout the day
- In addition to normal contract cleaning services, the furniture and equipment will be cleaned daily by the center’s staff.
- No one outside of the children and staff of the center will come in direct contact with the classroom materials and supplies.
School Location
The Morgan Center is located at The Plainview Cultural Development Center in Plainview. The facility is newly renovated, safe and child appropriate with preschool classrooms. It is
located ¼ mile west of the Nassau/Suffolk border and less than ½ mile south of exit 48 of the Long Island Expressway. The Plainview Cultural Development Center operates on weekends, so The Morgan Center families
will be the only ones there to use the school during the week.
